Recently, a push-pull strip pickling line (PPL) project with an annual capacity of 900,000 tonsindependently designed, developed, and constructed by Xuzhou Ritman Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (RITMAN)successfully completed commissioning and officially entered full-scale operation.

The successful implementation of this project marks a new milestone for RITMAN in the integration of R&D and manufacturing, as well as in comprehensive engineering delivery capabilities within the field of complete equipment for metal sheet surface treatment. It further solidifies the company's core competitive advantage in domestic high-end pickling equipment and injects strong momentum into quality improvement, efficiency enhancement, and green upgrading within the deep steel processing industry.

The 1300mm PPL project launched here represents a new generation of intelligent, complete pickling equipment independently designed and developed by RITMAN, drawing on years of R&D experience in metal pickling processes and addressing diverse market production needs. With a designed annual capacity of 900,000 tons, the system features proprietary designs for its core processes, control systems, and equipment structures, serving as a significant achievement in the company's mastery of independent, controllable core technologies.

Characterized by high precision and outstanding overall performance, the production line can stably process hot-rolled strips ranging from 700mm to 1300mm in width and 2.0mm to 6.0mm in thickness. It accommodates a wide variety of strip typesincluding ordinary carbon steel and high-quality carbon steeland is ideally suited for flexible production scenarios requiring high efficiency across small-to-medium batches and diverse specifications.

Regarding core processing technology, the line utilizes "shallow-bath turbulent pickling" technology, which offers multiple key advantages. The equipment employs a shallow-bath structural design combined with a multi-dimensional turbulent spray system; this generates high-intensity turbulent impact on the strip surface, rapidly removing iron oxide scale and rust layers. This effectively resolves common industry pain points such as uneven pickling, residual scale, and low production efficiency. Furthermore, the dynamic turbulent pickling mode significantly shortens processing times and boosts production throughput. It ensures superior pickling quality while drastically reducing acid and energy consumption, thereby combining high efficiency with green, energy-saving performance. The unit employs an intelligent push-pull speed control system that matches precise push-pull speeds and pickling process parameters to steel strips of varying widths and thicknesses. It ensures stable transport and pickling for strips ranging from 2.0mm to 6.0mm in thickness, effectively eliminating production issues such as strip wandering (tracking errors) or stalling, thereby significantly enhancing operational stability and product yield. Measured results confirm that the surface uniformity and cleanliness of the pickled strip meet high-end industry standards; the finished strip boasts excellent surface quality, perfectly suiting the requirements of downstream processes like rolling and galvanizing.

Furthermore, the project incorporates an intelligent environmental treatment system that precisely controls acid mist emissions and facilitates waste liquid recycling. This aligns strictly with green, low-carbon industrial production requirements, helping the enterprise achieve a balance of economic and environmental benefits.
